What events work with food trucks?

Food Trucks work in any situation where people gather. People that eat, that is. Whether its a community garage sale, a block party, neighborhood movie night or whatever, let us take care of all your food truck scheduling needs

How much space does the truck need?

A truck needs usually needs 2 to 4 parking spaces. A Food trailer can need as many as 6. It is important to keep the parking location as consistent as possible so residents will always know where to find the truck. Consider permanent signage for the parking location. And remember, save those spaces as early as possible. Making a truck wait to park will likely impact your start time.

How do we promote the service?

The more layers there are to your promotional effort, the better the results will be. Email blasts are only the beginning. Social media posts can go a long way to raising your resident's awarness of the services. If your property has texting, by all means, use that too. People read pretty much every text they receive. However, the most effective method of promotion is still the old school flyer. We will provide one you can print and post trhoughout the property.

How does pre-ordering work?

Each flyer will include a QR code your residents can use to submit orders anytime after the service is announced. They will receive a response giving them an order number to give the truck crew when they pick up their order. Also, each email notification will include phone number and instructions to text orders in.

How can we pay for meals or a portion of meals?

There are a number of ways to provide meals for your neighbors. Some HOAs will pay for the entire meal, while others will pay for a portion of the meals. Some will just set limits on the amount they will cover for each guest or household. If you have a budget in mind and an expected number of guests, ScheduleAFoodTruck will work with you to find the perfect truck for your event.

How many trucks can I get?

The number of guests is the single most important factor in determining how many trucks is appropriate for any event. While we understand the inclination to schedule lots of trucks for your event, it is crucial to keep in mind that these are small business people who depend these services to support themselves. So, to have too many trucks at any given event, undermines their efforts.
